Synopsis

In light of the recent malicious attacks on Polish wind farms, solar providers, and heat plants, we will analyze the TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures) used by actors like Berserk Bear and Static Tundra. We’ll demonstrate how Cloudflare’s Zero Trust and Edge Security solutions directly address the vulnerabilities exposed in these attacks, specifically replacing insecure legacy VPNs, protecting internet-facing OT (Operational Technology) edge devices, and enforcing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to prevent the credential-based lateral movement seen in recent power grid breaches. A Proactive Path Forward: Partner-Led Implementations and Exclusive Consultancy Offers Cybersecurity in times of crisis requires a proactive strategy rather than reactive hardware patches. This session features a deep dive into successful Cloudflare implementations by our local Polish partners, showcasing how they have transitioned organizations from legacy on-premise hardware to an agile, global edge network. To support the local ecosystem, we will conclude with an exclusive offer for attendees: a complimentary Security Gap Analysis and a guided Proof of Concept (POC) to begin hardening your infrastructure today. The discussion is grounded in When Tariffs Hit an Industry in Transition, a new research report from ServiceNow and KPMG featuring perspectives from industry executives and experts including KPMG Managing Directors Corey Chandler, Len Prokopets, and Michael Pricer, alongside senior leaders from ServiceNow.

Discussion Topics

• From Perimeter Trust to Verified Access

How organisations are rethinking legacy VPN access, third-party connectivity and IT/OT segmentation following the credential-based lateral movement seen in recent power grid breaches.

• Securing Internet-Facing OT Without Disrupting Operations

How security and operations teams are protecting exposed edge devices and industrial environments while maintaining uptime, availability and regulatory compliance.

• Reducing Lateral Movement in Hybrid Energy Networks

How leaders are addressing authentication gaps, inconsistent MFA enforcement and privileged access risks across distributed infrastructure environments.

• Moving from Reactive Patching to Structural Resilience

What a realistic modernisation path looks like for energy and utilities organisations transitioning from hardware-dependent security models to more adaptive, distributed approaches.
